Age: Approximately two years
Description: Ebony is a gorgeous dog with a beautiful velour-like coat. Ebony
started out her life dealing with a leg injury when she was only 6
months old. We believe that she fell out of a moving vehicle, and was
rescued on the street by a good samaritan. Ebony spent 8 months in
recovery because the surgery on her leg developed an infection, and
she eventually had to have multiple surgeries on her hind leg. Despite
all of this she has a very slight limp and no other physical difficulties.
Her previous life is unknown but she appears to be house trained and is extremely loving and affectionate with people. She is very inquisitive and bright and learns obedience cues quickly and enjoys interacting with the volunteers and staff at the kennel she is housed with.
Ebony is very energetic around other dogs and she would do best as an only dog, or paired with a dog that matches her intense enthusiasm and play style. Ebony would make a wonderful companion for anyone looking for an affectionate and brilliant canine family member!
